Shopping Centres
- Vilamoura — shopping throughout the town and the smart Marina area.
- Almancil — traditional high street shopping, banks, post office and more.
- Vale do Lobo — a small area at the resort entrance, plus boutiques around the Praça.
- Quinta do Lago — Buganvilia Plaza and Quinta Shopping for clothes, accessories and gifts.
- Faro — Forum Algarve, a pedestrian mall with shops, supermarkets and a cinema.
Supermarkets
- Vilamoura — Jaffers (Marina), Intermarché and SPAR, open 7 days, 8.30–20.00 in summer.
- Quarteira — large Pingo Doce and Continente.
- Quinta do Lago — Pingo Doce in Buganvilia Plaza.
- Vale do Lobo — Pingo Doce at the resort entrance, with an ATM.
- Almancil — Apolonia for quality produce, plus Pingo Doce and Lidl.
Markets
Most run mornings only, roughly 8am–1pm, with produce priced by the kilo. Monday isn’t a good day for fish (fishermen have Sundays off).
- Quarteira — gypsy market near Lidl, weekly Farmer’s market on Wednesday mornings, plus a daily fish market.
- Loulé — produce daily; the main market (with live music) is on Saturdays.
- Estoi — 2nd Sunday of the month.
- Albufeira — 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month.
- Faro / Olhão — markets run every day.
